Chance To Live Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Chance To Live

Chance to live

All said and not done
Meantime the wind has already blown
The life span is likely to be over
We are losing final cover

We chose the path of mad race
Kept mask on the face
Accumulated wealth by unfair means
And tried to win all over

In doing so, we were going away
From determined goal to stay
With materialistic world
And suffer things which were never told

One fine morning you realized that world is slipping
And you have failed in keeping
With what was to be done in journey
You surrender to an almighty

Yes, he is so kind
And will never mind
He has large heart to forgive
And grant you another chance to live
