Change Poem by Sally Plumb Plumb

Where did you go
when I wasn't with you?
You were with her,
what did she give you?

She gave you a promise
to stay with you always.
You pledged one to me.
but have moved to the byways.

Good luck with your venture
how ever it lasts.
Your promised indenture
will soon be our past.

Hard to know how she truly feels about what she has made a decided upon fact to put in her past. I don't read any emotions about it- good and convincing detachment.
