Changing Channels Poem by Avik Datta Gupta

Changing Channels

We think we have a clone far away
Rejoicing in a different stage
As we languish in pain as time runs slow
Heavy with our ageing garbage

Is this what we wanted?
Then why this time of misery?
Time to switch our channels
And live in a different story

A story of peace and a tale of love
Which we would write on our own
As Gods would see as we played our parts
And would applaud, as we  have grown

As we search the tune that we had lost
Somewhere we didn't care
And we will find if we are kind
To ourselves and lives everywhere

Time to change our thoughts
Time to change our goals
Time to change our defeating minds
And reach the other pole

This is the beginning after the end
The road ahead took a sweet bend
Straight life lines have boring trend
Go ahead and switch your channel my friend
