Changing Weather Poem by Alison Gaff

Changing Weather

Sunrise today was a colourful sight
But fast it faded to dingy light
Now underneath a leaden sky
One man and his dog jog by
There's a fine drizzle like a mist
It falls on leaves like a gentle kiss

This morning there's no birds to see
There hunkered down, up in a tree
Raindrops cling to spiders webs
Weighing down the delicate threads
Although it's damp it isn't cold
I wonder what the day will hold

Beautiful rendition of words. Lovely poem, well articulated and nicely encapsulated in good rhyme scheme with insight. Thanks for sharing Alison.
