Charge Me Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Charge Me

Charge me

Some fly jet fighters
Carry bombs to gun, shell,
Some in ships, are navy
Around them submarines,
Some sit in safe place
And fly the drones,
Some, at top, crazy
Rule nations and govern,
Control "Red Bottom, "
To release the "Atom."

Such people celebrate
The ruins, homelessness
That end some to hunger
(For life they body-sell!)

None of such is charged for
The crimes committed! ! !

I charge me for murder
"Arrest me, " beg justice:
"set a noose round my neck
Pull me up, till am dead…"

No, am not a soldier
Nor am I arms seller
Neither built the hotels
With blood of others
To become president…

Still am, murderer
Please come with shackles.

I deserve confinement
In lonely prisons…

Seal the lights on my face
Hide me in deep cellar…

Saw my car crucify
A gorgeous butterfly.
