Charlie Poem by Dorsey Baker

Charlie

Walking through the neighborhood
sporting a suit
of many colors
they call him Charlie
but nobody knows
who he is
or where he come from
his handshake
is strong
but if you look
deep enough you can see
his smile is
so full of scorn
he is
preaching about love
but sometimes
action
speaks louder
than words!
