I have a poem precious
title given in the top 500;
the name is fading into lost
mist meaning a number
on a page a vapour number
out of context with no meaning;

is that all is there no more
falling into the top of now
wasting time on a single;
poem already draft spent
except in ego ranked limelight
stroked revisited repeatedly;

pimped with requests to read comment
in efforts to attain points ranking in member
oft but a 10 voted, comment creamed ratings
publishing early publishing drafts is a trap;
let time reason season revisited precise words
Emily understood Emily Dickinson published
only about nine poems in her life while alive
the trap publishing early publishing too soon;

publishing too much publishing drafts unfinished
publishing green raw unseasoned publishing words
unreasoned unseasonal untamed too tamed beaten;
into flogged out over worked death spark dead pulp
early bloomer publishing too early the late bloomer
publishing too early no words are like music a string;

quartet written by a master at mature age heightened
seasoned power words like notes on a piano fingers
cascading through across tempo measured genius keys
white green of valleys blue black of high alpine peaks;
mountains words are like winter waterfall after heavy
storm winter rains water flood rushing over clifts rocky
craigs leaping into white water rush mist falls drops
down down gravity pages to river depths pool rivers;

swollen rivers in heavy downpour flood season must
rush on to far sea dry up in drought summer seasons
boom boom boom boom words thunder in storm flash;
tempest lightning flashes across skies lightning flashes
forks through electrified air to earth charge strike land
pink black clouds storm electrified illuminate dark clouds;
