Cheetah, Dear! Poem by Rajendran Muthiah

Cheetah, Dear!

I crave for a little space in thy heart
where all the beauty lies in abundance.
Your loving smiles sink me in the sea of mirth.
Your wild nature in choosing clothes
and mild manners and speech, win my heart.
Yes, Cheetah, you are odd among the numbers!
You are Cheetah to me but any name
to others who wag around and beg.
I'min debt to say my thanks thrice to your eyes,
thrice to your lips and thrice to your beauties!
You may take my face out of your heart with ease
butI can't yours, as it lies deep in my heart.
Heaven shinesin your gleaming eyes
and elegance bloomsfull in your gait.
