What Poetry Is
I've cordoned materialistic mind
I've vetoed consumerist mind
I've silenced hedonistic mind
I've assassinated my gross mind
I've strangled logical mind
I've guillotined inaesthetic mind.
To ope floodgate of noetic mind
To unfurl metaphoric mind
To uphold the subtle mind
To gush boundless oxymoron mind

I have gone through a number of poems by Nivedita and found unique in style, concept and philosophy. These are very much appealing with her notes and glossaries.Beautiful.
Quite contemplative poem, bringing the reader to share with the author, similar feelings and efforts by them. Poetic diction is superb.

I respect anyone who can take him- or herself in hand to make something like this happen. In my experience, trying to make this happen would be like wiggling my ears. I cannot control of the efferent nerves for ear wiggling, but the relevant afferent nerves make me aware of it. This reminds me of proprioception, a concept which Charles Olson adapted for poetics...words extend my reach but I feel my way haltingly across a rangeland of meaning.
