Cherished Childish Joys Poem by Carsten Thomsen

Cherished Childish Joys

Rating: 4.0

We
Scared boys
Caught inside
the hearts of
grown men
Fearing loss
of cherished
childish joy

I remember
childhood
Christmas past
How sister broke my toy
I cried but survived
Having lost
my One favorite
I'm not always sure
about what happens
next when the crying
heart stops

Oh, so very true, but on the other hand women can turn into spiteful little girls when the mood takes them!
