Dodging Bullets - Poem by Carsten Thomsen

Dodging bullets
gathering speed
get over or rid of
the things that I need

Sliding down the
pavement of
one-way streets

From the ashes
From the cross
Against traffic
Against all odds

It feeds
It breathes
No longer needs
