Child At Heart Poem by Edward Veilleux

Child At Heart

In life we're not on the same book, definately not on the same page.
The only difference between you and a child is a difference in age.
You live life and care for what's in front of your eyes.
You act so happy, but all you care about is financial surprise.
Life is expensive we agree on that much, but that is all,
I've watched your rise to 'responsbility, ' now I watch your fall.

Yes- the financial compulsion of adults is omnipresent. For a reason. It is real.
