Children At Karaoke Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Children At Karaoke

Rating: 4.0

Being reminded by music of the past being sung here
at karaoke, children coming over, talking to me about
Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson.

Totally excited and talking a mile a minute, watching
them looking through the karaoke book of songs, not
wanting to sing they say.

Just wanting songs they can dance to, leave it to the
children to think outside the karaoke box, and give it
a new definition for moments in time.
