Choose Or Lose Poem by Phil Daniels

Choose Or Lose

Choose or lose
Up there on Calvary
To hold the hammer
And the nails
Or help to set Him free

Choose or lose
Up there upon the Cross
To take the care
Remove and tenderly dare
Your choice may be a loss

Choose or lose
Upon that slab of stone
For in that tomb
Enclosed like the womb
Lay One that we bemoan

Choose or lose
Upon here your futures cry
For out of that deathly prison
The Resurrected One is risen
Claim Him now and don't deny

Choose or lose
Upon these three
Where do you stand
Affixing Him upon the tree
Your hand
Releasing Him to set Him free
Or resurrected to walk eternally
