Christ Sure Bet Poem by Phil Daniels

Christ Sure Bet

Are you a Christian so very sure
That Christ arose, alive for evermore
For many leaders appeared on earth
Surely these are of some worth

A king, Richard the Lion heart he won
The enemy he did over run
Attacked the very gates of hell
Removed the enemy, not so well

There was Lord Nelson with one arm
Surely the enemy he did disarm
An enemy who he did surely defeat
From life he also did retreat

And William Shakespeare with words galore
Stirred up the people and they did adore
For all his sonnets poems and play
He also did pass away

In prayer one can call on all three
But answers come from One that's free
For Christ is one in three, the only Son
Through Him only new life is begun

Yet this Christ, is God, arose
Only in the Spirit one surely knows
Having truly once have met
For all ones life will not forget
