There is no rainbow without rain
There is no pleasure without pain
No light without darkness
No joy without sadness
No laughter without tears
No courage without fear
No kindness without caring
No love without first giving
No harvesting without planting
No reaping without labouring
No success without hard work
No paradise without death
No promises without faith
Man is gifted with choice
To live and to rejoice
Life is fair to reward
Those who workout
Wings for those who dream
Hope for those whose lives dim
Love for those who willingly give
It is in giving you would receive
Wisdom, who earnestly seek
Opportunity, who seek
The meek would be exalted
The proud would be scattered
Peace is divinely gifted
Grace is favour merited
Happiness for those who pursue
Who willingly pay the price due
Life pays for what you bargain
You alone choose, loss or gain
Life is short
With no repeat
Happiness is sought
To live or regret in it
Love with your heart, mind and soul
Or you would merely exist, getting old
