Christ's - Blood- And - Forgiveness Poem by Dr. Antony Theodore

We cannot save ourselves,
but we can accept the
plan that God has
provided for us.

It will help us to
understand this
plan when we consider
what He showed to
His people, the Israelites,
before Christ came.

In The Old Testament Times,
they sacrificed animals.

The lambs that were
slain pointed toward
the perfect Lamb of God,
Jesus Christ, who
would redeem all
people by shedding
His blood for their sins.

The shedding of blood
also helped the people
understand the
seriousness of sin.

"In whom we have
redemption through
his blood, the
forgiveness of sins."
