Christ Went To Death Victoriously

Rating: 5.0

Christ Went To Death Victoriously

Christ went to death victoriously
He knew the beginning from the end
For the joy set before Him He endured the Cross
Knowing that He would rise again
The Word fulfilled the Word Himself
He is the soul saving One
What a glorious splendid day it will be
When His Kingdom comes

The Creator loved His creation such
To much to let it die
And knew that man could be redeemed
And be lifted up on High
So Salvatiin's plan was settled
In the past's beginning days
The Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit
With a full cooperation of praise

I know that my Redeemer lives
For His Spirit lives in me
And from the consequences of sin
Praise God I've been set free
I confessed my sin and repented
And I knelt on Holy ground
It was in the very presence of my Father's love
That Christ's saving faith was found

I've found my Hallelujah song
And I'll praise Him all my days
I know that my God
watches over me
And delights when I follow His way
His Word my foundation for living
Praise God it forever will abide
My guaranteed transport to Heaven
To be accompanied there with His bride!

Hallelujah what a Saviour!
