Christmas Poetry From The Heavens Poem by Vera Sidhwa

Christmas Poetry From The Heavens

Christmas Poetry from the Heavens

You painted the world just so
That we can enjoy Christmas poetry.
The evergreens shook oh so slightly
To the Christmas breeze blowing so lightly.

The words came to me
In stanzas from the Heaven.
The poems blurred through the cold sky.
The gift of God did not lie.

The realism in this winter landscape
Meant all the truth shown clearly.
I read the poems seriously.
They were Christmas poetry from the Heavens.
