Through the night blowing in the wind,
I felt of purpose I did go.
Inside a stable I did end,
And meant to be here I did know.
Just born and in a manger lay
The baby Jesus wrapped up warm.
But Mother Mary near him stay,
With no protection from cold's harm.
Then Joseph saw and picked up me.
We went to Mary, he gave her
Me, so of purpose I could be,
For Mary a warm scarf for sure.
Placed gently 'round her neck I will
Help Mary ward off the night chill.
