Christmas Time - Poem by C. P. Sharma
If you ask me what is love?
I would say, watch the peacock
While dancing to his dove
When it comes to shades of love?
Watch your lady love blush
when you say her, "I love you."
What is love's fragrance?
I say, it's intoxicating
In its scent the lovers swoon
Words come jingling
Like sparkling anklet's sound
In love, there is meaning profound
It's Christmas time
Love is in the air
Time for Santa's gifts and to say prayers
Like God invisible
Love steers clear
Ring out the old and ring in the New Year
