Cinderella Poem by ally jones

Cinderella

Such a nice, beautiful girl.
A girl abused like a slave.
A girl so kindly and true,
forced and treated as a maid.

But her smile is grace.
As she keeps on dreaming.
She will never give up.
She keeps on believing.

So kind to her friends,
as she does all her chores.
While her step-family glares,
all giving her more.

The news was great,
when the girl could go to the ball
and not even her family's jealousy,
could stop her dream's call.

With a little bit of magic
and a small amount of time,
did she quickly fall in love,
and danced with a shine.

Only when she panicked,
and left her glass shoe behind,
did the reality come back.
Leaving her prince to find.

All day and all night,
did the prince search for his love.
And soon he would find her,
locked away from above.

She put on her glass slipper,
and of course the shoe fit.
At last she would be happy.
Not doubting her self one bit.

Because she knew for sure,
as long as she kept dreaming.
Her wish would come true.
She just had to keep believing.

End.
