Cinquain Twin (In Free Verse) Poem by Savita Tyagi

Cinquain Twin (In Free Verse)

Rating: 4.5

Desire

Lips sealed with a kiss
Lips parted for more
Don't you know my love
Desire for ever more
The saga of ancient lore

Maya (Illusion) In Nature

I am the Eve of your Garden
Defamed by fate's cruel hand
I bore you in me as a thought beautiful
Carry the energy per your command
I am but the executrix of your deeds.

Observations of things that pertain to the phases of a life determined by desire and illusion often.

Desire is never satiated, it goes on increasing! It is so natural that a heart in love pines for more and more of warm expressions of love from the loved! We are ever tantalized by Maya! Better to keep away from her deluding charms ! Enjoyed both the five liners, though they cannot be called cinquains! !
