What a spirit of accommodation it must have taken

to coax those haughty letters to nestle together!

Each had expectations of being in a niche of surrounding space;

emptiness was supposed to be their halo of self assertion.

But look, what a salutary lesson! They have gravitated together.

They assert themselves in unison;

they have mutual magnetism as their halo;

they have a pledge as their orbit.

They write roundness against a backdrop of all that is written.

They come together in the cause of bearing light.
