City Of Brotherly Hate Poem by Stanley Cooper

City Of Brotherly Hate

Intolerance, U.S.A.
Where bigots live in disarray
Variance not abided
Thoughts and reason all one-sided

Similitude’s revered
Difference considered weird
Diversity acrimonious
Adverse and felonious

Let’s hope in time it’ll be decreed
To allow Intolerance to secede
This hypothetical city aberration
Has no place in our great nation
