Claim Immunity Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Claim Immunity

Who can claim to be self disciplined?
When lines and role is clearly defined
Where media plays its part
From position of neutrality and start

Who will bell the cat?
Who will pinpoint plight of people and their fate?
Who shall raise the banner and lead the march?
The corruption has deep roots and touched

Not a single field has remained unaffected
Even judiciary is infected
Media is sold and bribed
The freedom and liberty is totally robbed

Genocide, rebellion and uprising
They are moves and are comprising
Resistance from people against tyranny
They are powerful enough to stand in mutiny

Keep no trust on any power
State has role to censor
Against any move to disrupt unity
This, in fact, is detrimental to integrity

Dictators can not claim immunity
It is possible in democracy
Where news papers are considered pillars
Out spoken and real defenders
