Clarion Call Poem by ANJANDEV ROY

Clarion Call

In the pleasant night
I sleep in great peace,
No fear, no anxiety whatsoever,
I dream and swing with ease
Unaware of the earthly sufferings.
Long time elapses,
Still I sleep and love to sleep greatly,
I wish the calm and tranquil night to continue forever,
But as an inevitable rule of nature,
Gradually night comes to an end and daylight appears,
Then I listen to the Clarion call, the great call,
Which entreats me to wake up
And think about those who could not sleep the entire night.
