As I drive around the country
I see beautiful expensive places
Well-kept yards surrounding them
With colorful flowering spaces
We feel that these folks have money
For many are certainly called mansions
We expect a butler to greet us at the door
The ‘lady’ to wear the latest in fashions
We expect to be greeted warmly
Invited right into the parlor
Or a library filled with classic books
The man of the house quite a scholar
They invite us to ‘supper’ of course
There are several delicious courses
You can imagine a stable as well
With beautiful purebred horses
As yes, we can put our imagination
In gear when we see such a nice home
I love these exciting settings
As across our beautiful country I roam!
