Clay Buddhess Poem by Terence George Craddock (Spectral Images and Images Of Light)

Clay Buddhess

Rating: 5.0

Why do you grieve
so sedately women?
Why do you wear
sadness as sullen shroud?
About moulded mature beauty
fair form fitting soul.

Sitting still seated stone statue
in pale purple dawning.
Painting beloved features
within dark wooden mask.
Etching screaming unhappiness
carelessly needlessly cast.

Many gifted girls within wilted
sallow smog congested city.
Shall never find
herein heavenly love.
Firm free fellowship
immaculate memorable men.
Not one man.
Within which
could clothe themselves.
Against emptiness night chills
anguished torn tatters fading dreams.

Not one sought single man
never never even one.
While you will ever be loved
fated fresh challenging faces.
Unchosen undesired
even bothersome
as dilate destiny
unfolds unbidden not.
Seized sad forsaken creatures not.
Changing clinging faces following
evermore evermore phantom one?

Poet shall wooing write
priceless poems
songwriter soliciting songs.
Sorrow strengthen fickle heart
for future fermented bond.
As phoenix arise fly scan
landscapes distant frontiers spaces
in visions through sensory observations;
perceive environment events unfolding;
in great beauty create intense excitement;
deathless inspiration, then in virtue sow prosperity.
