Cleverly Laid Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Cleverly Laid

Rating: 3.0

It has not only been said but cleverly laid
Every dog has its price and simply paid
No one gets it simply for free
It is not that you get the fruit when hit the tree

One must understand the scenario
When you realize only self and approach as abnitio
We can’t take others responsible for our grief
They are not bound to give us any relief

Time and tide waits for none
When it comes you should not be seized with storm
You should be fully conversant with and well informed
Dark clouds will never appear at horizons to warn

You may age with passage of time
Your vision and teeth may disappear sometimes
You may make desperate attempts to hide
Yet it is left to self conscience to confide

There should remain no illusion
Not a slight thought should emerge to lead to confusion
You may try to look young and enterprising
But to your utter dismay it may look illusory and surprising

Time is not only money but very precious
Money multiplies if used cleverly and continuous
Ride over wings and fly towards object
That may be counted as hilarious and adventurous act
