Clock Poem by Sharon Kelly

Clock

Look at you
You are Beautiful
In all my lies
Of a heart beating
You are are the one true beat
A pellucid moment in my lonely hours

She says
I am sorry for you
At home all alone
What do I do with this ticking clock
I'm choking on these hours and moments and seconds
I want you, I want you
