The devil will close your ears and eyes
So, you will know, and believe in his lies,
When hate, prejudices and racism you seek
It's because the devil has made you weak,
The devil will see you as his great prize.
He wants you in Hell.
The devil doesn't want you or me to rise
He doesn't want us to believe and baptize,
The devil wants us scared, doubting and meek.
He wants us in Hell.
The devil will show up in a disguise
He will make the foolish and the nonbelievers unwise,
He doesn't want you to turn the other cheek
Truth and forgiveness he doesn't want you to speak,
He just wants to hear your suffering and cries.
He wants you in Hell.
