Closed Doors Turning Away Another Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Closed Doors Turning Away Another

Closed doors turn away another in the throes of love who's bending in half, for this woman would rather be alone in a glass of beer, leaving everything that's held so dearly.

But for the sorrow in her heart blinding her from the love she has right here in this man who loves her more than life itself,
but for some reason she cannot understand or see him.

Soon she will be walking away without ever loving anyone, building empathy is no longer enough to stay with her, not able to take her tears anymore.

They're just too heavy for this man's heart to stay and watch, as she continues running away from a love that would've stayed had she not failed to recognize its truth.
