Closed Eyes
Closed eyes
I close eyes
And try
To assess the mentality
Where is a real feeling of nationality?
I had suggested
The Congress should be disbanded
As political goal was achieved
And we had seriously worked
The political ambition came to the fore
Whole of the country felt sore
The politicians turned mad
The population had to bear brunt and feel sad
I have witnessed genocide
The population on both the sides suffered
Millions crossed artificial boundary
There was heavy burden on both the countries
The politician dreamt of big role
There was malign intention of giving such call
But the partition became reality
Who was sufferer ultimately?
So I kept mum
To show restraint and wisdom
It was for public to guess
And analyze the situation and assess
