A cobblestone path, how pretty it can look
leading down fom the a hill to a babbling brook.
Then leads into a village of old world charm, where
everything is peaceful and away from harm.
This cobblestone path does not end there, it
follows on to a church where fellowship share
the kind of love that comes with an open door.
A welcome love that you can feel free to pray
not only on The Sabbath but every day
This church has no steeple or pews at the side
but just a cobblestone path that runs far and wide.
Each little turning has an open invitation. To join the
fellowship of Gods creation. The cobblestone path
protects us from harm thats why this verse is called
The Cobblestone Psalm.
Beautiful poem, Sylvia. So soothing...I would love to say a prayer on that cobblestone path. Love, Sandra
Dear Sylvia, This is another one of your greats, it really does have the power to move the reader: 'Then leads into a village of old world charm, where everything is peacefull and away from harm'. A brilliant picture to hang up in any hallway of the heart, Love Duncan

I would like to translate this poem
A lovely poem Sylvia, a reminiscence of a older time somehow. Just to mention there are a few miss-spellings in case, but they didn't spoil the poem and I loved the read. I am not critisizing, but you may like to be told, I hope you don't mind. Love Ernestine XXX
