Coexistence



With-in the mosaic in which I live I coexist with many.

I coexist with different religions, cultures, languages and dialects; I coexist with race, sexuality and gender.

With-in the mosaic I also coexist with barriers.

I coexist with wrong orders, sudden charades, and people speaking far too fast.

I coexist to my dismay with bigots, racists and people that laugh at rape jokes.

However challenging, with-in the mosaic in which I live I also coexist with diversity.

I coexist with unique world views and stories of struggles overcame; I coexist with ethnic food, music, and bold clothing.

With-in the mosaic I coexist with a lack of indifference.

From coexistence we are the generation of a world reborn unique; we are a generation tolerant and accepting, diverse...
