Coffee And Cigarettes
It was a cool thing,
from the movies and a fix or high and then a relax.
Coffee and cigarettes for a fashion for a fashionista.
It gathered fellow travellers and was arty and fitted de rigeur of the day.
It had a note of entrance to cooland an addiction too. And outsider and poetic. A theme.
But those were the days.
' no we know' and instead our fashion
Is avocado and fruit smoothies.
De rigeur is just that.
I think back to the ideas of
The left bank and bohemia
And existential and Camus.
No we know.
I almost died from emphysema but I started with vaping and my lungs have improved. Better if one can quit altogether though! Are you still smoking Bernard? ? ?
