Cold Rolled Steel - Poem by Stephen Mueller

Crush me under your weight
You want a perfect copy
Spending your time on me
Wasting what is really there
Cold rolled steel is not me
I will not bend to your will
Force me as you may
I will not bend any way
Small adjustments you make
And the mold I will break
Put an end to your plans
Cold rolled steel is not me
You want a smaller you
But that is not me in any way
Blasting me as you need
Your ideas have no effect
You’re just wasting your breath
Put an end to this I am not your pet
Cold rolled steel is not me
