Cold Winter's Night Poem by Ronald Chapman

Cold Winter's Night

Can you Imagine laying on the floor,
with me In front of a bright,
warm fireplace, covered in a thick fleece blanket?

With no space between us;

Holding cups of hot cocoa,
Warming each others hearts,
Laughing and telling stories of the past,
Promising to keep secrets between us,

Imagining what gifts the future will bring,
Wondering what we will do next?

Can you ever remember times,
When you felt better than this?
