Collision.(Translation) . Poem by Michael Walker

Rating: 5.0

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
He has taken some knocks in life, probably when young. He was in a head-on car collision once, I would say driving, which is like a punch to take. His passenger was killed, could be a man or a woman. Then he started giving poetry readings, where people were moved to tears. He believes in all that, which is like seeing his passenger dead through broken glass of the windscreen and windows.
He had a rough start in life, but recovered by becoming a successful poet. He could move people to tears. Then he remembers seeing his friend dead.
A high-impact poem, also true to life. Extremes of misfortune and success. Very impressive.

The punch like glass is accepted. Time crashed with car collision. Watching any one dead through the smashed glass is really very sad. This poem is brilliantly penned and translated....10
