Welcome colobus baby, you
Are a holiday present fine
Here at home in Lincoln Park Zoo,
Decked all in a white monkey shine.
Though all white now does be your fur,
As you proceed through your first year,
Just like your family for sure,
Your black and white fur will appear.
Close to Mom for a while you'll stay.
But soon she'll let her daughter go
More with your three sisters to play,
Leaping together high and low.

To the colobus family.
