Colossal Madness Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Colossal Madness

There's a colossal madness.
Fed to the people from the top.
And such a tragedy.
Addicting minds on it that can't stop.
Where is the cavalry.
Coming on their horses like cops.
To defend a greatest stated.
In books created.

Colossal madness.
Fed to the people from the top.
Elected 'gods'.
Pretending to have vision.
And a lot.
Yet their decisions.
Must be chipped from blocks of rock.
To have such madness,
Lack thought to have it.

Colossal madness.
Fed to the people from the top.
To keep deluded.
Has torn everybody apart.
This sickening madness.
Must end to have those on top to drop.
Whether to like it or not.

Colossal madness.
Fed to the people from the top.
Is such a tragedy.
Addicting as if this can not stop.
Colossal madness.
Tearing everybody apart.
While vultures on them focus.
