Colourless Poem by Sana Ashher

Colourless

Rating: 5.0

Bespeckled and scarred
She had seen the dazzling beds all flowered
Before her morning walks were done
She'd seen the splendor of the shinning sun
She'd witnessed the coolness of the midnight breeze
And the ravishing rainbow above the trees
And of course the silver shining moon
Before she slept ever so soon, yet…
Her life was colourless
Her memories did not glow like the sun
Every midnight she was haunted by a demon
Epics of her life were black and white
No colours of the rainbow were now to bring any delight
There was not a silver lining in any cloud of her stormy life
Every now and then she was confronted with a strife
She was still bespeckled and scarred, yet..
Completely colourless
