Come December

Come December, I'm not in a festive
mood. In fact, I become quite sad. The
reason I feel this way, it's the month
when I lost my dad. I've tried not to let
it get the best of me, as it's something
I'd like to erase. Wherever I turn and
look, I always see his face. I know by
now, I shouldn't get upset, there's a
reason, this has to be. Is there a
possibility, he's trying to communicate,
with me? As mere mortals, we'll never
get to know. Who's to say this can't
happen? Personally, I'd like to think
it's so. If it could only be as simple as
that, life would be so much easier to
bare. But since that's not possible, all
I can do, is make believe he's there!
