'Come On Down The Road'
Come on down the road a piece
just come and pull on in the drive!
If you don't see me out in the yard
then I might be just inside!
Come on in and set a spell
kick back and let's just talk a bit!
Now pour yourself a cup of coffee dear
and let's both, chat and sip!
Come on down the road anytime!
I'm always ready, to have a friendly, neighbor talk!
I'm not ever that far away, you know?
where you couldn't, just walk a bit!
