Come Rest And Snuggle - Poem by Michael P. McParland
I am so very sorry sweet one
but the tiredness has crashed down
so very hard upon me
and I need to lay down for awhile
please come rest and snuggle with me.
I want us both to be in each others arms
so I can give you some kisses and say I love you dear
right as we rest our heads.
Kira please come rest and snuggle with me
because I miss you babe and just want you here with me.
Come rest and snuggle sweet Kira please,
I just want to be with you as I for awhile fall asleep.
I want to be in your warmth and feel
deep loving care with deep peace.
I just want to hold you as I put my head down
to get some very needed sleep right now.
I miss you so very much and just want
to be with my Angel whom I love and loves me very much.
Please come snuggle sweet Kira and rest
for awhile with your loving Michael.
