Come Taste My Wine Poem by john (called jack) wren

Come Taste My Wine

I am the true vine, come taste My wine
In My Father's garden I always shine,
He cuts and prunes to make Me strong
So I can feed the lost and headstrong.

You are the branches that bear the fruit
Remain in Me and be every new shoot,
You will be pruned for as long as you live
So remain in Me and your wish I will give.

My Father tends Me and He'll tend you
If you will follow My obedience too,
I gave My life so yours will not end
Will you give your life to save a friend?

There's no greater gift a man can give
Than to die so others he loves may live,
I choose you to be filled with My love
Now receive all He has to give from above.

I Am the True Vine
Come Taste My Wine
