Come—the Gates Of Hope Stand Open Wide Poem by Mohammad Younus

Come—the Gates Of Hope Stand Open Wide

Come—the gates of hope stand open wide,
their archways forged in waiting's fire,
each pillar carved from silence,
where time's slow rivers hum their hymns.

Behold, the spires rise beyond the night,
crowned not with gold, but with the embers
of a thousand unspoken dreams—
each spark a star aching for a name.

Bring the wine of reunion, dark and sweet,
poured from vineyards where deep roots drink
the tears of all who whispered "not yet"
into the hollow cup of tomorrow.
Fill the chalice till it overflows—
let the taste of *almost* and *always*
wash away the weight of absence.

Here, we break figs ripened by resolve,
share bread leavened with new beginnings,
until joy settles deep in our bones.

Then, dance—not in fleeting steps,
but in the turning of stars within the blood,
limbs moving to rhythms only the soul recalls.
For life is not a fragile pillar,
but a vaulted hall of winding paths,
where every sorrow, every scar,
becomes part of the sacred design.

Love lays the cornerstone, steady as north;
truth binds the walls with dust of stars.
No storm can shake this place—
winds may howl their hungry songs,
but these stones have learned
to bend into light when darkness leans in.

Stay. The dawn here is not a moment, but a mantle.
We are the builders and the blueprint,
the hymn and its echo,
and with every breath,
we remake the world.
