Comfort And Joy Poem by Phil J Hambling

Comfort And Joy

Rating: 5.0

Watch me weave
Through the killer breeze
Rain spattered head
And Freezing feet
Pacing the December pavements
Watching the warmth behind the windows
Neon blurring crystal shards
Of comfort and joy
Shrapnel of memories
Stuck in the heart

A heart full of shrapnel rings true here too.
