Comfort In Our Affliction

Comfort in our affliction
Praise God for the truth of it
For we can rest in a Saviour
Who giveth such benefits
The Holy Spirit our Comforter
Praise God that He has come
To help us in our daily walk
To enjoy our so great Salvation

Though trials and testings may come our way
Along with a load of suffering
We have one Who can bestow us grace
To turn our grief into rejoicing
Inner peace and joy...hallelujah!
What a Saviour is mine
I no longer have fear of death
For He's with me all the time!

Comfort in our affliction
Hallelujah...praise the Lord!
Backed up by the full authority of
The precious Word of God
I've searched the scriptures and have found Him
I know in Whom I have believed
There's not a friend like Jesus Christ
Repent and this Saviour receive!

Hallelujah what a Saviour!
